Abstract dancing figures carved out of a light green piece of Butter Jade stone.
Butter Jade has a creamy yellow colour with darker stripes throughout. It is another form of African Jade and is sometimes also known as Butter stone. The darker stripes found in this attractive yellow-green sedimentary rock are actually layers containing fossilized algae. This type of stone is typically around 50 million years old, very hard and brittle.
The sculpture can be hanged or put on a flat surface.
