Medium sized oval soap dish carved from rare Black Serpentine, with small Hippo swimming inside. The inside of the dish have been highly polished and outer edge left bare to create a beautiful contrast.

Serpentine is a general name for a group of closely related metamorphic rocks that are translucent to opaque, waxy tough, fibrous and frequently occurring in veins. The serpentine subgroup are greenish, brownish, or spotted minerals commonly found in serpentine rocks.
